We believe in supporting the other makers and creatives that make up this amazing community we're a part of. We currently do this mainly through collaborations, offering kits, working with indie designers to create patterns for our yarns, and preview knitting. Up until this point, the collaborations we’ve done have been a mix of people we’ve approached and people who have approached us. Although we’re still a relatively small company, and are thus not able to pursue every opportunity, we’d still love to hear your ideas and to keep in touch regarding how we can make them happen & support your work in the future. So if you’re interested in working together, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! We welcome contributions from & are interested in working together with people of all & any race, gender, sexual orientation, age religion, ability or country of origin.
Another way we work with makers in the online fiber community is through our Preview Knitting Program. This was something we tested out on a very small scale for Homestead, and we’re currently looking to work with a few new knitters this spring. If this is something you’d be interested in, please feel free to sign up for our newsletter, as I’ll be sharing about all future Preview Knitting opportunities there. You can do so here. We welcome applications from knitters of all/any race, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, location or knitting experience/size of social media following. I can’t promise a spot for everyone as we have limited resources available for this program but I’m more than happy to chat about the program with everyone.

This collection is something I put together with my friend Simone of Ink & Soil. It's a tribute to my grandma and all she taught me, and celebrates the strength and power in friendships between women. All items in this collection are to the best of our knowledge ethically produced in Germany. Betty's Sweater Pin & Bag currently available here
Betty's Sweater Pin was also featured in Travel: A book for Makers, Adventures and Sustainablists which you can find more about here.
